“Amino Acids” is a dance and movement piece inspired by the role of amino acids as neurotransmitters in our bodies, which are fundamental to our nervous system and perception processes. These neurotransmitters enable us to create and sense our realities, forming the basis of how we experience the world.
The performance utilizes the point cloud technique, exploring the interplay between the performers through a monochromatic palette. Shades of grey, along with sharp contrasts of black and white, are employed to emphasize the merging and interaction of the two performers' movements. The abstract yet deeply connected visuals reflect the idea of neurotransmitters seamlessly merging to communicate within the body, much like how the dancers' movements combine to convey unity and perception.
